Japanese speakers, what is this stuff and where can I find it in the UK??
If you can tell me I will love you forever and possibly send you a packet if I have to bulk-order, because it is the condiment of the gods.
I’m clueless about reading/speaking Japanese… but I did a search by the code on the package and found this. That’s what I’m thinking. I also found listings for red shiso in other searches, not sure if that makes a difference. I did a search to find out what shiso is and saw reference to perilla.
Progress! And a search for “red perilla” brings up some stuff called furikake on Japan Centre.
